1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files or identifiers that may be stored on, or read from, a device when someone visits a website. Similar requirements may apply to other storage or tracking technologies. Article 22(2) of Spanish Law 34/2002 governs information and consent where required, without prejudice to technologies strictly necessary to provide a service expressly requested by the user.
2. Intended use on TOTEMPLAST's website
TOTEMPLAST's corporate website does not include Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, advertising tools or a newsletter subscription service. Fonts are served directly by the website. Its content can be accessed without accepting tracking cookies.
The hosting service may use strictly necessary technical technologies for website security and operation. If other, non-exempt cookies are introduced, information about their provider, purpose and duration will be given, and consent will be requested when legally required.
3. Google Maps: optional loading
The contact page allows visitors to request a map provided by Google. The Google Maps iframe is not loaded automatically: it is added only after clicking the “Load Google Maps” button, which is accompanied by prior information. Loading it establishes a direct connection with Google; that provider may set or read cookies, obtain technical data and process information under its own policies.
You may choose not to load the map and read TOTEMPLAST's address as text. You may also hide the map later to stop displaying that component; this does not delete any cookies Google may already have stored in your browser.

4. Preferences and withdrawal
To avoid activating the external content, simply do not click “Load Google Maps”. If you choose to load it, you can subsequently hide it using the option provided next to the map. Cookies already stored by a third party may be managed through your browser settings; blocking or deleting them may affect that provider's functions. If the website later uses non-exempt cookies, effective choices to accept, reject and withdraw consent will be provided before they are used.
